Kenichi The Mightest Disciple
(史上最強の弟子ケンイチ) OVA to be released in March

Kenichi The Mightest disciple has been my favourite manga from Weekly Shonen Sunday. It offers a great martial arts storyline and the art is great. The Anime came out in 2006 and ran for a year, with 50 episodes. However it was not complete as the manga continued.  At the end of last year Syun Matsuena (the creator of Kenichi The Mightest Disciple) mentioned in a chapter that Kenichi was coming back to our screens as an OVA (Original Video Animation).
At the beginning of this week the official site of Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday websunday.net  posted the first seven minutes of the first episode of Kenichi's OVA. The OVA will continue from where the televised animation left off (The Ragnarok Arc).

Nearly all the voice actors from the anime cast will return to perform in this OVA. But both Tomoko Kwakami (Miu Furinji's Seiyuu) and Hiroshi Arikawa (Hayato Furinji's Seiyuu) passed away last year and have been replaced by Rie Kugimiya who will star as Miu and Yuzuru Fujimoto will play Miu's grandfather.
