On 30th March Goku will once again save the Earth from destruction in the upcoming movie, Dragon Ball Z: Kami to Kami (Battle of Gods).
This movie is set between the 517th and 418th installments of Akira Toriyama's original manga. Specifically, it is set during the "lost decade" of story tiume after the end of the battle with Majin Buu.

Wiss and Bills, the God of Destruction, are tasked with maintaining some sort of balance in the universe. After awakening from a long slumber, Bills is visited by Wiss and he learns that the galactic overlord Freeza has been defeated by a Super Saiyan named Goku from the North Quadrant of the universe, who is also a former student of the North Kaio.
