It has been a while now since the news of the new Fairy Tail movie have been in the works. But recently a date and even several trailers have been released for our view pleasure. Fairy Tail: Hoo no Miko (Priestess of the Phoenix) revoles around a mysterious girl called Eclair. She appears before Fairy Tail with amnesia, however she knows that she must deliver two Hooseki (Phoenix Stones) somewhere as the failing so could results in the collpase of the magical world. Fairy Tail are intrigue by this and are caught up in battles that could save or end their world.
Mashima (the creator of the series) was charged with the story planning and visual design and character designer. This movie should follow the previous success of other movies that have had the series creator involved (such as One Piece Strong World, Bleach: Hell Chapter).
The movie will be in theatres on 18th August (only in Japan).
