In issue 21/22 of Weekly Shonen Jump it was revealed that the new One Piece movie (One Piece Film Z) will be overseen by Eiichiro Oda as executive producer. He has also created characters designs for the movie including the "strongest enemy yet" that the straws hat will face. This will be the first film to take place in the New World.
As Oda-sensei is overseeing this project it will undoubtedly be as great as the last movie in which he help create (One Piece: Strong World). It opens in theatres only in Japan on 15th December 2012.
