Hunter X Hunter: Phantom Rouge is  centred around Kurapika who is seeking revenge on the Phatom Troupe (The Spiders) for the massacre of his clan, the Kurta clan.

“rouge” means red in French and refers to the “beautiful and covetted scarlet eyes” of the Kurta clan, the same eyes that Kurapika possess. The movie will be release in Japan on 12 January 2013.

An unknown “party” has stolen Kurapika’s “scarlet eyes”, but his life is saved with the help of Gon, Killua and Leorio. The Phamtom Trupe stands before Kurapika and the others, who are about to discover the true identity of the person with the number 4 spider tattoo.

In volume 48 of Weekly Shonen Jump the character design of the person with the number 4 spider tattoo was revealed. His name is Omokage and will play a key role in the upcoming movie.
