Shokugeki no Soma by Yuto Tsukuda and Shun Saeki

The story revolves around Yukihira Souma, who is the son of a great cook. The story starts off with an urban life planner wanting to buy the Yukihira Restaurant. Will Souma be able to drive the urban life planner and her thugs away with his cooking?

The debut of Shonen Jump’s new food manga Shokugeki no Soma, illustrated by noted ero-mangaka Tosh (aka Shun Saeki), is being hailed as the sexiest manga to debut in Jump for some time, and has wasted no time filling its pages with tentacles and scantily clad girls…

This ecchi manga series began in volume 52 of Weekly Shonen Jump. The artwork is indeed impressive and Shun Saeki shows off his skills as an ero-mangaka. The story by Yuto Tsukuda is an interesting idea and probably only seem interesting to many readers at the ecchi parts. This mangas longevity all depends on how the plot develops, but this series could survive in Jump for a few years.

Addition Info: HUNGRY JOKER's Tabata Yuuki mentions he's actually friends with the author of Shokugeki no Souma, Tsukuda Yuuto. He's very happy that both of them are getting serialized at the same time.
